You can make a big difference to the Deaf community, here is how:

Make a will and donate to Remark! Community

A will is a legal document that enables you to decide where you want your money and possessions to go, and ensures that your wishes are carried out. You can update, amend or write a new will as often as you need to and at any age, if your life changes.

We depend on generous donations to fund our work reducing loneliness and isolation

Remark! Community is a Deaf-led charity that support and empower Deaf people in London through many different aspects of their lives. Through grants and practical support, we aim to continue to minimise social isolation and build better lives by promoting independence. We support the Deaf community by delivering and variety of projects including lunch clubs for older Deaf people, a youth club and playschemes for Deaf children, a weekly club for Deaf adults, sports clubs and many other social events throughout the year. Remark! Community support almost 200 people a week through our projects at an annual cost of over £120,000 and we hope to expand our support further in the future.

Your Gift

IMG_2122.jpg

Leaving a gift to a charity in your will is a highly personal and private decision. We would be honoured if you chose to remember Remark! Community in your will. This will enable us to carry on with our valuable work in the Deaf community.

We would love to know if you have already left us a gift in your will or if you intend to do so. This would give us an opportunity to thank you properly and we can keep you informed about our work and projects.

Writing your will

If you are planning to write a will, or to amend your will, we suggest that you seek professional, independent legal advice to make sure your wishes for your family, friends and any charities cannot be misunderstood later on. You can help secure our future by making or changing your will to leave a gift to Remark! Community in 3 ways:

  • A fixed sum of money.

  • A percentage of your total wealth.

  • A specific gift for example shares.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us:

annie.oshea@remark.uk.com

Thank you for your support.
