LUNCH CLUBS MEET AT KELSEY PARK

On Thursday 23rd July, the members of our Lunch Clubs met at Kelsey Park for a social distance meet up. We had 15 members and they all ensured that they stayed at least 2m away from each other and kept in individual groups of up to 6 people (allowed according to govt rules). They had a great chat and a catch up on all the news that has been missed during Covid-19 lockdown, while enjoying their lunch either brought themselves or from the café.

Steven, the Community Co-ordinator, encouraged them to walk around the park to observe the wildlife around the lake and see plenty of beautiful flowers that most of the members know the real names of.

It seemed almost like old times and like having a day trip out with everyone.

Remark! Community will continue to arrange social distance meet ups once a week so the members can see their friends face to face instead of on the computer or on the phone.

Please do get in touch with Steven if you want to come and meet your friends.
