Camden Lunch Club and the Hidden Stories of Hyde Park
Last Friday Camden Lunch Club experienced the absolute treat of a guided walking tour around Hyde Park, "Hidden Stories of Hyde Park." The tour was organised and led by the delightful Royal Parks staff, who visited the group in March this year to ask members about what they were interested in to tailor the experience to our group.
After a lovely introduction seeing the tadpoles and newts at the learning centre garden, Richard led the group around the Speaker's Corner, Parade Grounds, Reformers' Tree, Great Exhibition Grounds and the Bird Island, while teaching us the fascinating history of the area and its beautiful wildlife.
We want to say a huge thank you to May, Fowsia and Richard for making the day incredibly special for Camden Lunch Club.
